FOX FLYING CLUB has been called by many "the best kept secret at DuPage Airport". The problem with secrets is that it is hard to get the word out. The objective of this club is to make flying safe, affordable, and accessible. The fun part is already inherent in flying.

On this web site you will find some information that describes our club and provides some idea of what we are about. If I may, I would like to add my own words to these; the airplanes are all clean, well maintained, and well equipped. Flight instructors in the club can take a student from a private rating through an instrument rating, or help a seasoned veteran become a more proficient pilot. The officers of the club are all volunteers and we encourage all members to become involved. The ones that do get a real satisfaction out of their experience and most learn quite a bit. I know I did!

The most common question asked by prospective members is: With the initiation fee only $350 how can you afford to run a flying club? Having in mind that all of our members are really owners of the four airplanes, this is an understandable question. But, the club has been in existence since 1956 and has grown over the years through the efforts of many member/volunteers. So all of us (current members) benefit from no lease-back aircraft and a wealth of knowledge and experience.

There is also an additional benefit of insurance that comes with your membership. Avemco holds our policy for a limit of $1,000,000.00. And the club has been incorporated to provide the members additional peace of mind.
